The QA&EHS Dept of Alstom Sizhou is made up of two parts, quality assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC), which have more than 40 professional quality personnel including 8 qualify engineers and 4 AWS CWI welding inspectors and all of them have many years experience on qualify control; there is a NDT house that can meet level 3 pressure vessel inspection need and there are six persons who are certified as level 2 PT, MT, RT and UT inspectors. Alstom Sizhou has full-featured physical lab and chemical lab to ensure that the properties of steel can be tested as accurate and soon as possible. We have set up a complete measurement management system and have lots of measurement equipments such as metallurgical microscope, hardness tester and flatness measurement geometry etc which could ensure the inspection quality of products. Alstom Sizhou has set up and obtained certification on ISO9001 quality management system, ISO 14001 environmental management system and OHSAS18001 occupational health and safety management system. According to quality assurance system requirements, inspections have been conducted in processes from outsourcing, work in process, to finished products by inspectors and workers of manufacturing. Product quality and safety awareness have been the priority of every employee.
